Bioneer subsidiary AceBiome, BNRThin wins the “Korea First Brand Award 2026” in the Chinese diet probiotic category 



AceBiome, a microbiome-based health functional food company (CEO Myunghee Kim), announced today that its flagship premium diet probiotic brand, BNRThin, has won the “2026 Korea First Brand Award” in the diet probiotic category for the second consecutive year, based on direct participation and voting by Chinese consumers.


Now in its 24th year, the Korea First Brand Award is organized by the Korea Consumer Forum and is the largest consumer-based brand award in Asia. Brands leading the year are selected through large-scale consumer surveys conducted across four Asian countries, including Korea, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The award is widely recognized for its credibility, as brand competitiveness is determined through expert evaluations combined with direct consumer voting in each country.


For the China-specific Korea First Brand Award, representative brands are selected through online voting conducted among local consumers via People’s Daily Online (People.cn). This year, approximately 4.42 million consumers participated in the voting process, and BNRThin received the highest overall evaluation in the diet probiotic category.


According to the results, BNRThin achieved higher scores than competing brands across key consumer metrics, including service and product satisfaction, repurchase intention, and willingness to recommend to others. The award once again confirms BNRThin’s strong brand trust and customer loyalty in the Chinese diet probiotic market.


BNRThin is formulated with Lactobacillus gasseri BNR17, a probiotic strain originally isolated from Korean breast milk, and is supported by research on body fat reduction and gut health, along with strict quality control standards. Building on these strengths, the brand has steadily expanded its presence and recognition in China, particularly through online distribution channels.


AceBiome continues to expand its product lineup and communication strategies centered on BNRThin, taking into account the characteristics of Chinese consumers and the local purchasing environment, while further strengthening its competitiveness in the premium probiotic category.
